I. BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE AGENCY
The Labuan General Hospital is a 51-bed capacity hospital, located at the west coast area of Zamboanga City. It was established on November 14,1984, as Labuan Public Hospital, a 10-bed Infirmary Hospital. Pursuant to RA No. 11196, signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte dated January 18, 2019, it became Labuan General Hospital increasing its bed capacity for General Care Service. LGH aims to provide a prompt, quality, accessible, equitable, cost effective, sustainable and responsive hospital care services.

A premier hospital in the west coast area of Zamboanga City that is dedicated to advancing the health of the people through accessible, affordable, quality health care and employee commitment

Labuan General Hospital Observe Hospital Week through its Service
The Labuan General Hospital, together with DOH region 9 and its partners, observed the national Hospital week, last August 2, until August 13, 2020. The hospital week is observed by all government hospitals in the nation, as annotate the positive effect, the hospitals and health care workers have, in their community. This year’s hospital week theme is: “Hospitals as Champions in People Centered Care in fight against COVID 19”
