Labuan General Hospital Observe Hospital Week through its Service
The Labuan General Hospital, together with DOH region 9 and its partners, observed the national Hospital week, last August 2, until August 13, 2020. The hospital week is observed by all government hospitals in the nation, as annotate the positive effect, the hospitals and health care workers have, in their community. This year’s hospital week theme is: “Hospitals as Champions in People Centered Care in fight against COVID 19”
LABUAN GENERAL HOSPITAL GEARS UP TO PREVENT COVID-19 SPREAD

The Labuan Public Hospital (LGH), recently imposed stricter monitoring and preventive measures, in response to the looming threat that is the COVID-19 outbreak.
The LGH is not a designated COVID referral hospital. At present, LGH has already detected four cases of Patients under monitoring (PUM)s. All the cases are sent home and referred to their respective barangay Health workers, for further monitoring. Patients under investigation (PUI)s are referred to the PUI center, where they are admitted, and tested for confirmation. so far, the LGH has no PUI cases.
