The Labuan Public Hospital Health Emergency Management Bureau conducted a 2-day training on Basic Life Support Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation last July 20-21, 2017 held at Labuan Public Hospital conference hall.


On July 20, 2017, It was formally started with the registration of the lecturer and participants and through an invocation followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The welcome address was given by the strong and supportive Chief of Hospital Dr. Alexis Roy F. Valdez. Introduction of the trainers was done. Pretest were given to participants. First lecture was Mr. Bernardo D. Orpiano V, RN, EMT-B DDRM-H Manager, Labuan Public Hospital discussed on Course overview and Principle of Emergency care and Foreign Body Airway Obstruction Management. 2nd Lecturer was Mr. Frencis P. Tiu Rivera, RN, EMT-B, HEPO II, Labuan Public Hospital discussed on Introduction to Basic Life Support and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. And the 3rd Lecturer was Mr. Mark Anthony J. Morillo, RN, EMT-B, Nurse II Labuan Public Hospital discussed on Respiratory Arrest/ Rescue Breathing and AED. On second day of the training July 21, 2017 Posttest were given to the participants. Return and actual Demos were performed by the Lecturer and Participants. Distribution of Certificates was done. Closing Remarks was given by the strong and supportive chief nurse Mrs. Marylou O. Mercado, RN.
