Last July 8, 2017 marked the Turn-over Ceremony of Medical Equipments to Labuan Public Hospital, Global Grant no. 1754162 from Rotary Club of Nam Seong Nam, District 3600, South Korea and Rotary Club Zamboanga City West, District 3850, Philippines for Improvement of Maternal and Child Care Facility.

It was formally started through an invocation followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The welcome address was given by the strong and supportive Chief of Hospital Dr. Alexis Roy F. Valdez, MD. The very strong Director of Department of Health Region IX Dr. Aristides Concepcion Tan, MD, gave his massage. President of Rotary Club Zamboanga City West, District 3850 Philippines Mr. Michael Maggalanes, introduced the delegation from Rotary Club Nam Seong Nam, District 3600, South Korea. One of the very significant parts of the ceremony was the massage of the donor. The main event which was turning-over of Medical Equipments. It was very important part of the program. The very Energetic Chief of Hospital Dr. Alexis Roy F. Valdez and Chief Nurse Mrs. Marylou o. Mercado, accepted and gave their massages. The ceremony was done through a closing remark by the Medical Officer III Dr. Ivy M. Kunting, MD.
